Hi, I’m Milan from ATL Grow.
I’m an urban gardener based in Atlanta, GA, zone 8A.
Inspired by the food shortages during the early days of the covid-19 shutdowns, and the memories of my Grandmother’s front yard garden, I started out on a concrete patio growing in containers and fabric grow bags.
After a recent move, I’m now growing in raised beds, containers and bigger fabric grow bags.
I am not an expert. What I am is a passionate gardener that loves to research and try gardening techniques geared toward urban gardeners.
My Mission
My mission is to educate and inspire individuals to cultivate and care for urban gardens, in order to promote environmental sustainability, community engagement, and personal well-being.
I believe that gardening can have a profound impact on individuals and communities, and I am dedicated to sharing the knowledge and skills necessary for successful and fulfilling urban gardening practices.
Through online learning, educational resources, and community events, I strive to empower people to create green spaces in their own neighborhoods and to foster a greater connection to the food that we eat.
